in an experiment with food, geometric marble planes are transformed into functional kitchenware utensils. devised by italian studio lievito for opinion ciatti, primary shapes roll out, crumble, chop and come back to their places following the rules of ‘the game’. the sphere crumbles the spices, the cylinder rolls out the doughand smashes meat, the cube scales fish, the prism chops the vegetables.

Creative brains are a valuable, limited resource. They shouldn’t be wasted on re-inventing the wheel when there are so many fascinated new problems waiting out there.
To behave like an artist, you have to believe that the thinking time of other artists is precious – so much so that it’s almost a moral duty for you to share information, solve problems and then give the solutions away just so other artists can solve new problems instead of having to perpetually re-address old ones.

To prepare for the launch of a new aircraft, Air New Zealand decided to scrutinize its current long-haul offering. The company asked IDEO to rethink the entire traveling experience.
Together, they revamped the airline’s equipment, service, and technology strategy. Reconfigurable seats in coach allow travelers one of two desired experiences: connection and socialization or solitude and retreat. New policies and procedures give travelers more control of their space and time, and ultimately allow for a more enjoyable and memorable flight.

You’ve got to really love a sneaker to create type from it and Will Smith from Portland clearly has a passion, creating these digits in honor of his favorite Jordan sneaker the Jordan 4 “Fire Man”.
You can see the 80’s influence in the colour and style in this concept project. The numbers were inspired by a retro catalog card showing the sequential number given to each new design.
